Led by renowned voice trainer Chris Nolan, Glee East is the newest member of our Glee Club family and gets together every Thursday evening at Kew RSL.

We work in short seasons towards a performance. There are no auditions for Glee East – just a willingness to do a bit of practice! It’s no drama if you miss a week or two – we understand that we all live busy lives and so we stream and record the sessions and give you lots of resources so you can sing at home and catch up.

We love to accept new singers to come and give it go at the beginning of each season. Numbers are strictly limited each season – we want our choirs to stay personal and not too huge!

And we love to bring the fun to choir rehearsals – we don’t have tea break, we have wine time!

Rehearsals: Thursdays 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Dates: May 1 – June 19
Melbourne performance: June 21 TBC
Optional Hobart trip: June 27 – 29 (more info below)
Rehearsal venue: Kew RSL, 63 Cotham Road Kew
Cost: $300 or you can give the first session a go for $22 before deciding if you’d like to come along for the whole season. 20% discount available for pensioners and health care card holders. 10% discount if you are currently in Glee Plus, Glee West or Glee Bayside.

Here are the dates for the rest of 2025. Please note that sometimes we need to make small changes to fit in with performance opportunities but we aim to stay as close to these as possible.

Season 2

May 1 – June 19
Trip to Hobart for Festival of Voices June 27 – 29

You organise your own transport and accommodation to Hobart. We suggest booking somewhere walking distance to Salamanca Place. Please plan to be in Hobart from 4pm on Friday June 27 – 7pm on Sunday June 29.

We’ll have a full itinerary available for you in early June but it will be at least two pop-up/singers lounge performances as well as our famous Song Trivia event.

There is also a registration fee for Festival of Voices of $85. We’ll send you all that info upon your registration for Glee East.
