The Werribee River Association is hosting an inaugural River FEST in Wyndham Park to celebrate World Rivers Day and we are thrilled to be a part of it! BYO picnic and rug and enjoy an afternoon down by the Werribee River.

The FREE festival celebrates the Werribee River, our iconic platypus and the communities that call it home.

Live music from:

– Glee West – the best choir in the West!
– Ethiopian born, now Wyndham based musician Nhatty Man
– The Orbweavers, singing odes to Victoria’s Volanic Plains and the Waterways of the West
– Community Dance groups performing dances inspired by local and worldwide waterways

Workshops:
– Waterways in Watercolour with Xiang Li
– First Nations Art and Craft with Michael Cussins
– Traditional Pacific Weaving with Vicki Kinai

Plus kids activities, educational stalls, and roving performances.
